John is
currently the Director of Business Planning
& Corporate Performance with Baltimore Gas &
Electric. In that role he directs the BGE
Strategic Planning, industry benchmarking
and utility wide performance reporting
activities. In addition to this, John is the
project manager for BGE’s Electric Vehicle
Project and serves as an internal SME on
several technology areas including
distributed generation, distributed
resources and energy applications on the
customer side of the meter.
John has been
with BGE for over twenty six years in a
variety of roles from working with BGE’s
commercial and industrial customers,
managing the conservation and load
management programs and working with major
customers in preparing for deregulation. In
recent years he has overseen a number of
process improvement activities and now leads
business planning and a range of customer
technology assessments.
John has a
bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Computer
Engineering from Clarkson University and a
Masters in Business Administration for
Loyola College (now University) in
Baltimore. He was a member of the Baltimore
chapter of the IEEE- IAS (Industrial
Application Society) for many years and
served on their board as the Education
program lead.
John will
provide an overview of BGE’s Electric
Vehicle program, objectives and activities,
a perspective on what can be expected as
EV’s come to market and the many aspects of
becoming “EV Ready”. |
